In a significant move towards bolstering India’s green hydrogen ambitions, the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany's H2Global Stiftung. The collaboration aims to establish a robust framework for promoting green hydrogen projects, fostering knowledge exchange on market-based mechanisms, and strengthening cooperation between India and hydrogen-importing nations.
A Milestone Agreement
The MoU was signed on November 19, 2024, by Shri Sanjay Sharma, Director (Solar) at SECI, and Dr. Susana Moreira, Executive Director of H2Global. The ceremony witnessed the presence of key dignitaries, including:
